Forbes announced last year that Jenner was on her way to becoming a billionaire, and now she has officially hit the mark thanks to 9% revenue growth in her business, Kylie Cosmetics, in 2018.

Jenner has been in the limelight since she was 10 years old, when the first "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" episode aired on the E! Network.

Since then, she has created a cosmetics empire, accumulated a lavish car collection, and given birth to baby Stormi Webster with boyfriend Travis Scott.

In July 2018, Forbes announced that Jenner is one of America's richest "self-made" women with an estimated net worth of $900 million. Many people criticized Forbes describing Jenner as "self-made," saying that she was born into extreme wealth and fame, as Business Insider's Kate Taylor previously reported.

Forbes said the bulk of Jenner's net worth comes from her makeup empire, Kylie Cosmetics, which Jenner owns entirely.
